mySchoolApp

Year: 2015 - present

Summary

mySchoolApp is an app designed to help boost parental engagement in schools. mSA, launched in 2014, required social media management to increase their digital presence.

We re-vitalised their social accounts, connecting with real leads, creating branded shareable content and secured a leading position in the 'school app' social space. As part of a wider digital strategy, we created a range of how-to app tutorial videos and promotional film, demonstrating the benefits the app can bring to both parents and schools - all within a seamless brand experience.

Strategy

Our core digital goals were to:

• Drive more traffic to the mSA website

• Produce engaging digital content

• Capture customer data to further grow CRM

• Increase the presence of mSA on social media

Video production

We produced a series of short how-to videos for mySchoolApp, designed to assist schools with the back-end management of their new app. This included videos on managing events in the app calendar and updating and adding images to the image gallery.

On top of this we were required to produce a short promotional video, demonstrating the simple intuitive UX of mySchoolApp.

Graphics

Switchboard was responsible for the creation of social media imagery. This included: enhancing photography of the mSA team in action at events and creating a wide range of infographic sliders for social sharing.
